I called my parents...
it is not uncommon for me to dial up their number when life gets difficult and i need advice.
on this particular night i was calling about a crush.
I was crushed about this crush.
I felt sad and alone, and then my dad gave me these words of advice.
"Kylie, you are a keeper, so don't be a settler."
After hanging up the phone, I laid in my bed and realized that I was no longer worried.
and my dad happened to be the greatest person I know.
