finally its finals.

is it just me or does it seem like this semester has just flown by?
there is the saying that time flies when you're having fun.
i would like to add, time flies when you are such a busy little bee.
finals week is finally here, and i think it couldn't have come at a better time.
you see i am almost out of all motivation.
i almost don't care what i get on my finals,
and i almost don't plan on studying for them.
but just almost.

today i layed on the carpet listening to my records and eating homemade fudge.
i couldn't get past the on-going list of things i need to do in the next four days.
luckily there is a light at the end of the tunnel,
this weekend i get to see john schmidt's christmas concert.
i get to see friends who i haven't seen in a years time,
and i plan on baking a batch of christmas sugar cookies.
tis the season to be jolly.

i'm a winner.

so i am not a fan of pizza.

once a year type of thing. judge away. call me a non american. i cant help it.

that was all until i discovered margarita pizza.

something about the "real italian" makes it so much better.

i met my mom for lunch at terra mia, where we could order some "real italian" when we were asked to fill out a card that read.

"circle your best guess for each wining NCAA football team, get all five games correct and win a free pizza."

now i know i mentioned it before but football is not my forte. at all.

i don't even know what NCAA stands for.

but non the less i filled out the form and forgot about it.

until a four days later.

yes i am the winner of a free margarita pizza.

and yes i will brag about it all day, even if it was just pure luck.

playing a bit of catch up.

i have been a real big slacker.

i'll even capitalize it for extra emphasis.

SLACKER.

but here is what i have missed the past month..

1: a park city stay where we lived "glamorous", spending the day in bathrobes and drinking steamers from starbucks.

2: the lovely lanterns at the beehive tea room. 

peppermint tea? check. chocolate matilda cake? check.

3: a happy reunion for my best friend with her best friend.

4: silent film, phantom of the opera. little man who played the organ and wore a mask.

5: fizzy lizzie drinks.

6: a beautiful wedding.

7: the long awaited 11-11-11.
